Aletheia House is looking for a Program Manager-Opioid Prevention Specialist who wants to make a difference in the lives of individuals who may be at risk to use and/or abuse opioids. The areas served are Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair counties in Alabama.

Position Summary:
The Program Manager-Opioid Prevention Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities and supportive services of our Opioid Prevention Program. The Program Manager-Opioid Prevention Specialist works closely with the Director of Behavioral Health to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Provide substance abuse prevention services to approved population of focus in accordance with DMH, CSAP and Aletheia House regulations.
-Participate in the quality assurance process that periodically monitors clinical charts to ensure that documentation is compliant with DMH and other regulatory agency requirements.
-Serve as the liaison between Aletheia House and prevention partners.
-To attend and participate in community based efforts and provide appropriate resolution for routine consumer issues and concerns.
-Facilitate meetings of the prevention team and report outcomes and data to the Director of Behavior Health.
-Perform initial review of timesheets, time cards, purchase orders, leave requests and mileage requests from team members.
-Provide on-call consultation for after hour emergencies, as needed.
-Document all services in a timely, complete, and clinically appropriate manner.
-Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as directed.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Behavioral Health, Chief Operating Officer and/or Executive Director.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Excellent writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills with knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
-Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
-Exceptional interpersonal skills to relate with clients, participants, and resource providers.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
-Ability to maintain harmonious effective working relationships with other employees.

-Master’s degree preferred.
-Bachelor’s degree in Social Service field, required.
-Experience in SA prevention a plus.
-Certification as a Prevention Specialist required.

-This position requires some local travel in order to develop community partnerships and to attend meetings.

Physical Requirements:
-Requires the physical mobility to sit, stand, bend, and walk for moderate periods of time.
-Requires the ability to drive personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement is offered.

Job Salary: 
$43,000.00 - $46,000.00
F/T, 40 hours - Exempt--Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm - (Primary) some evenings and weekends required.
