Aletheia House is looking for a Therapist for the Evergreen, AL area. The counties serviced will be Conecuh.

Position Summary:
The Therapist is responsible for providing outpatient treatment in the forms of individuals, groups, and family counseling to program participants. The Therapist works closely with the Treatment Coordinator and Director of Behavioral Health to accomplish the mission and service goals of Aletheia House.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Provide individual, group, and family counseling to program participants.
-Conduct psycho-social assessments as needed; also conduct psycho-educational classes with clients and their families according to the approved curriculum.
-Document all services in a timely complete and clinically appropriate manner.
-Serve as liaison between clients and other service providers, as applicable.
-Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as directed.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Behavioral Health, Chief Operating Officer and/or Executive Director.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Excellent writing, communication, organizational and time management skills with knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
-Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
-Exceptional interpersonal skills to relate with program participants and resource providers.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
-Ability to maintain harmonious effective working relationships with other employees

-Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or other behavioral health area with a clinical practicum, required.
-Experience in providing substance abuse treatment and/or prevention services, preferred.
-Current certification as a Drug Counselor and / or LPC Licensure preferred.

Physical Requirements:
-Requires the physical mobility to lift, sit, stand, bend and walk for moderate periods of time.
-Requires the ability to drive a motor vehicle.

-Must be willing to use and have your own personal transportation. Travel required on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Mileage reimbursement for personal use of vehicle is included.

Job Salary: 
$38,000 - $42,000 DOE
F/T, Exempt--Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
